The human condition

A series of paintings about the games people play in order to give meaning and purpose to their lives.

Some of these games are deadly, and involve violent and disastrous acts and consequences. The destructive games invariably fail in their objective, and only serve to make life more pointless, and the planet less habitable.

There are games that lift the spirits of the players, giving them joy and inspiration, and even a sense of purpose. These involve giving, sharing and compassion - a love of life and a desire to nurture each other and the environment.
